Christmas Gifts to Soldiers: Dec. 3, 2016

You may or may not know that my son, who inspired me to start this wonderful organization when he enlisted 10 years ago, retired from the Army career in September. We cannot begin to express how much everyone that gathered with us and for us in the last 10 years has meant to us. We also want to make it clear to everyone that the show will go on! We are all as dedicated as ever to continue to help lift the spirits of our servicemen and women, and their families, in any way we can!

So, once again we look forward to gathering to wrap and pack Christmas gifts and goodies for deployed troops!

Christmas Gifts to Soldiers

Saturday, December 3, 2016
1701 E. Main Street
Urbana, IL 61802

We will send everyone on our list a box of great holiday goodies: DVDs, t-shirts, good coffee, home baked goods, socks, games, and letters from children.

YOU can help by:

•    Purchasing a gift for a soldier, and bringing it to the event or dropping it off beforehand. To arrange pickup, email

•    Baking some cookies or other treats

•    Showing up on the 3rd with Christmas wrap, scotch tape, scissors, and a smile

•    Clicking on the button on the right, and sponsor the cost of shipping 1 box

I have downloadable, printable flyers if you are interested in learning more, or sharing this information with your coworkers, church, scouts, VFW, or any other organization.

As always, if you’re not from Central Illinois, you can still participate in the merrymaking: If you’d like to send a box of gifts to a soldier, we’ll give you a name, address, some gift ideas, and shipping advice. Many have already started their boxes.
